Running out of edits
25 more edits for $10, one time, for the site that ran out. It does not start a subscription and does not renew. You can also subscribe, or download what you have and carry on elsewhere — running out is never a dead end.
The things worth asking
- What happens if I cancel?
- Your site comes offline after a short grace period, and we email you before it does. Nothing is deleted — your pages, your edits and your leads stay in your account, and subscribing again puts the site straight back. You can download it at any point, including after it has come down.
- Can I really take the site with me?
- Yes, and it is free on every plan, permanently. You get the complete site as a folder of files, plus a guide for putting it on Netlify, Cloudflare Pages or GitHub Pages and pointing your domain at it. It is written for someone who does not know what DNS is.
- What counts as an edit?
- One instruction that changes the site — including the first build. Asking a question that does not change anything does not count. The number left is shown in the editor from your very first edit, not sprung on you at the end.
- Do I still get leads if I host it myself?
- Yes. The contact form keeps sending enquiries to your dashboard wherever the site is hosted, on the free plan, at no cost.
- Is there a contract?
- No. It is month to month, you cancel in the app, and cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.
- What do I need to start?
- A description of your business. Not a domain, not photos, not a card.
