Built for you, by me

Bring a SaaS idea. Get the application.

Not a website with a form on it. A real application — people sign up, they pay, the data is theirs, and work happens in the background. The same way the platforms below were built, because I built those too.

From $15,000 — the figure depends on what it turns out to be, which is what the form is for.

Things I have built this way

Open them. That is the whole case — there is nothing here I am asking you to take on trust.

What a build includes

Accounts and access
Sign-up, sign-in, password reset, and permissions that hold up when more than one person uses it.
Billing that works
Real payments through Stripe — subscriptions, one-off purchases, and the webhook handling that keeps access in step with what was paid.
A database designed for it
Schema, migrations, and isolation between customers enforced by the database rather than by remembering to filter.
Background work
A job queue for the things that cannot happen inside a web request: sending, generating, publishing, retrying.
Deployed and running
On infrastructure you own, with your domain, your keys, and the ability to hand it to another developer.
The code, and how it works
Yours. Written to be read by whoever comes next, with the reasoning in it rather than in my head.

How a build actually goes

  1. 1

We work out what it actually is

Most ideas arrive larger than they need to be. The first job is finding the version that can exist and earn something, rather than the one that takes a year.

  2. 2

I quote the scope, not an hour count

A fixed price for a defined build. If it changes, we talk about it before it changes.

  3. 3

    I build it

You see it running as it goes, not at the end. Anything I get wrong is cheaper to say early.

  4. 4

    You get it

Deployed, running, and handed over — the repository, the accounts, the keys.

I do not put a delivery time on this page, because I would be guessing before knowing what you are building. Tell me the date you care about and I will tell you honestly whether it is possible.

What this is not

  • It is not the website builder. That is the rest of this site, and it is free to try.
  • It is not an agency. You are talking to the person who writes the code.
  • It is not for everyone. If what you need is a website, a template, or a $2,000 prototype, I will tell you that rather than take the work.

Tell me what you are building

There is no buy button for this, because I need to understand what I would be agreeing to before quoting. The more concrete you are here, the more useful my reply is.
